About
Web Accessibility Engineer | Frontend | Design System | WCAG | EAA | DDA
Perth, Western Australia, Australia.
I have a degree in Systems Analysis and Development, with over 12 years of experience in frontend development and more than 9 years working specifically with web accessibility.
I began my career in system support and later transitioned to frontend development, building a strong technical foundation across multiple industries. I have classroom experience as an instructor at Impacta — a leading institution in technology, design, and business education in Brazil — where I delivered front-end training across undergraduate and specialisation programmes.
I worked as a Front-end Engineer at Itaú Unibanco, one of the largest banks in Latin America, where I was part of the design system team responsible for creating, maintaining, and driving adoption of the IDL — Itaú Design Language — across Itaú and its entire conglomerate. Working with HTML5, CSS3, Angular, TypeScript and SCSS following the BEM methodology, I built and maintained reusable, accessible components deployed across multiple platforms and clients.
I am now based in Perth, Western Australia, where I work as a Front-end Engineer with a focus on accessibility auditing, WCAG compliance, and design systems.
